Frequently Asked Questions

1. Recording

Can I record from a Bluetooth headset or microphone?

We do not support Bluetooth recording directly.

However you can install an app called BTmono from Google Play Store that will make the Bluetooth headset or microphone act as a built-in mic. This has been reported to work by many of our customers.

Can I record phone or Skype conversation?

Unfortunately, Android does not provide us with a means to record directly from another application. We can only record from the hardware mic. But if you run Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder in the background, you can still record Skype conversation, but the quality might not be optimal.

If you are unsure with the recordings’ quality through your phone, please try Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder free version before purchasing: Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder (Free)

Can I use an external microphone?

It is very likely that Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder can record from an external microphone from the headphone port.

Almost all of the newer microphones uses CTIA / AHJ standard. Almost all phones released after 2013 uses the same standard, so it is likely to work. However, please try it first using the Free version of Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder.

If it still does not work, you might want to change the option at the app Settings > Recording > Mic selection to Device default.

How can I prevent the ringing sound of incoming calls or texts during recording?

Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder will record the ringing sound, but you can prevent it by turning your phone to silent mode while recording. Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder does not silent your phone because that might not be the behavior you want.

How do I automate recordings? (using Tasker, Locale, or intent actions)

You can automatically start and stop recording by one of the following methods.

Tasker

There is a nice app called Tasker that allows you to automate things based on certain conditions. For example, you can initiate action based on a timer, location, phone state, and many more. Starting from version 1.20.1, Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder supports Tasker “task” and “state”.

When used as a “state”, Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder returns the following variables:

  • %last_recording_filename : The filename of the recording that was last (or currently being) written.

Your own app

This is for Android application developers. Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder supports the following Intent actions:

  • yuku.mp3recorder.action.RECORD
  • yuku.mp3recorder.action.PAUSE
  • yuku.mp3recorder.action.RESUME
  • yuku.mp3recorder.action.STOP
  • yuku.mp3recorder.action.TOGGLE_RECORD (since 2.1.1)
  • yuku.mp3recorder.action.TOGGLE_PAUSE (since 2.1.1)

Use sendBroadcast to trigger them. Set the package name to “com.hiqrecorder.full” for the Pro version or “com.hiqrecorder.free” for the free version. There are no extras required.

The TOGGLE_RECORD action starts or stops recording, TOGGLE_PAUSE pauses and resumes recording, both of them are based on the current recording status.

Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder also broadcasts Intents, so your app can act accordingly. Those intents has the following actions:

  • yuku.mp3recorder.action.RECORDING_STARTED
  • yuku.mp3recorder.action.RECORDING_PAUSED (since 1.20)
  • yuku.mp3recorder.action.RECORDING_RESUMED (since 1.20)
  • yuku.mp3recorder.action.RECORDING_STOPPED

Again, no extras are given.

If you are a developer and needs assistance, please contact us.

How do I make the recording louder?

If you want to have a louder recording, you might want to experiment with the Gain option. You can access it from the app Settings > Recording > Gain and adjust it higher.

However, please take note that the quality of the recording still depends on the mic hardware itself. Adjusting gain too high will distort the sound.

How does stereo recording work?

Stereo recording is a bit tricky. Many phones with a single microphone report that they can record in stereo. Conversely, many phones that has multiple mics refuse to record in stereo.

First, it seems that Android will just accept our app’s request to record in stereo, although actually there is only one mic. It will duplicate the audio signal exactly, so the left and right channels contain the same data. The resulting MP3 file will still be in stereo, but with exact same waveform for both channels.

Second, some devices have multiple mics but they are not for stereo recording purposes. They are there to assist in noise cancellation. Using two microphones they can compare the differences of the audio signal between the mics, and extract only the difference as the audio signal given to apps.

On some phone models, it is possible to actually record in stereo if you change the mic used for recording. Go to Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder settings, and change the Mic selection option. Try changing it to the “rear microphone” or the others.

Starting from version 1.20.2, we will automatically analyze the audio signal when you enable stereo mode from the settings. You will get a notice if we determine that the stereo recording does not actually work on your device (duplicated audio signal as above). Please let us know if your device supports stereo, and we will add it to the list!

Devices known to be able to record in stereo. Note that if your device is not on the list, it does not mean that your device does not support it. Many new devices support stereo recording.

  • Oneplus 5
  • Samsung Galaxy Note II
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 (with Rear microphone)
  • Samsung Galaxy S5
  • Samsung Galaxy S4
  • Samsung Galaxy A5 (with Rear microphone)
  • Redmi Note 4 (with Rear mic or Raw audio)

Devices known to duplicate audio signals (stereo does not work)

  • Samsung Galaxy Nexus
  • Most low-end Android smartphones
How long can I record?

You can record up to 10 minutes in the free version of Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder.

In the full version, you can record as long as you like it. It only depends on how big the free space on your external storage (SD card or USB storage).

For example, on a device with 16 GB free storage space, with the default bit rate (128 kbps), you can record for 270 hours in total.

Some filesystems (especially FAT32, which is used in most phone models for external storage) have a limit of 2 GB size for a single file. In that case, you can still record for more than 30 hours in a single run.

How to reduce noise while recording?

Some phones have two microphones. A primary microphone is aimed to your mouth to record your voice, whilst also picking up any noise from around you. In a single microphone circuit, this comprises all the data that is sent via the air waves to the receiving handset.

With a secondary microphone located elsewhere, usually near the top and on the back of the handset (so it doesn’t pick up so much speech), a lot of background noise can be removed.

You can try these steps, that may or may not reduce noise:

  1. Go to in-app Settings
  2. Select Recording
  3. Select Mic selection
  4. Choose Rear microphone or Raw audio

This allows for a different mic to be used for recording. Note that this does not work on all phones. The quality of recordings depend largely on the mic hardware itself.

What is the most suitable bit rate?

The bit rate determines the quality of the sound recorded. The higher the bit rate is, the better the sound quality will be. However, a higher bit rate will make the MP3 files larger.

Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder by default use 128 kbps. This results in 1 MB file size per minute of recording. This default bit rate is suitable for most recordings including general musical clips and concerts. However, if you want to record your own musical performance, it is best to use 224 or 256 kbps bit rate to ensure minimal loss of quality.

If you record lectures, sermons, or talks (with no music), you can set it to 64 kbps (0.5 MB/minute) and you will get a good enough sound quality.

Why can’t I record phone calls?

Unfortunately, Android does not provide us with an official way to record phone calls. The reason for this is most of Android phones don’t have their internal “wiring” of audio path set up such that voice call audio reaches the application processor at all.

However, it is known that several phone models can record phone calls using Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder, such as:

  • Samsung Galaxy S5
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 2
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Do let us know if your phone works well to record phone calls using Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder, so we can add more phone models to the list. Please contact us here.

Why can’t I store my recordings on SD Card?

Starting from Android KitKat (4.4),  downloaded apps are only allowed to write to a certain part of a removable SD card.

When you change the location of stored recordings from the app Settings, choose “App folder on SD Card”.

Then when you want to access the recordings on the SD Card directly from your PC, the folder is located in: Android > data > com.hiqrecorder.full > files > Recordings. Alternatively, use the Wi-Fi Transfer feature to move the files to your PC.

2. Interface

How do I delete a recording?

If you want to delete a recording, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open the recording list screen by pressing the top-left icon on the main screen
  2. Tap a recording that you want to delete (or long-press if you have enabled the “Single-tap play” from the app settings)
  3. Select “Delete” from the pop-up menu that appears.

Note that the recording is not moved to Trash or Recycle Bin, it is deleted from the storage.

To delete multiple recordings at once, long-press the first recording to activate multiple-selection mode, then select other recordings by tapping on them. After all the recordings to be deleted are selected, press the trash icon or “Delete” menu on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

Some 3rd party media players still show the recording on their playlist. You can’t play it, somehow it is still stuck there. Sooner or later it will be removed from the playlist when the system media scanner scans the whole storage.

How do I give a name to my last recording?

To quickly rename your file when recording is stopped, open the app Settings, choose Interface, and tick Prompt for name.

Right after the recording is stopped, you will be asked for the file name. This works even when stopping recording via the widget or from the notification drawer.

How do I hide the “Recording” status on the notification bar or drawer?

There are two ways to hide the “Recording” notification icon on the notification bar on top of the screen.

Firstly, you can enable “alternate icon” from app Settings > Interface. This will replace the circular recording icon with a more obscure diamond icon.

Secondly, you can completely hide the icon from the notification bar, by going to app Settings > Interface > Hide notification icon. This will hide the icon that appears on the top-left corner of your screen, but when you pull down the notification bar, the entry that says that recording is in progress will still be there. This is a requirement mandated by Android that a background-running app must have a visible notification in order for that app not to be terminated prematurely by the operating system.

How does LED indicator notification work?

Starting from version 2.2, you can enable LED indicator and make it blink when recording is performed.

led

If your device include a small light that is separate from your screen, you can enable this option and see the light blinking every few seconds when you are recording and the screen is turned off.

We use red for the LED light to indicate the “recording” status, however, some devices do not support full-color LED, so on your devices it could be white or some other colors.

How to add widget on my home screen? I keep losing it.

Please make sure that your Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder is installed on your device’s storage.

To check, you can follow these steps (may vary by devices):

  1. Go to device’s Settings
  2. Select Applications > Application Manager, or Apps
  3. Select Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder
  4. Tap the Move to device storage or Move to phone if enabled.

To add a widget on your Home Screen:

  1. Long-press a blank space on your home screen, or open the app drawer/squares, and select the WIDGETS tab.
  2. If possible, long-press or tap the Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder from the pop up menu
  3. Choose one of the Widget. There are single button, two buttons, and start/stop shortcut to choose from.
  4. Hold and drag the widget to the home screen.

What is the difference between Quick Start and Auto-start?

Quick Start allows you to start recording from your notification drawer, without having to launch Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder from the apps menu.

Auto-start lets you start recording as soon as Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder is launched, without having to press the Record button from your screen.

Both settings are available to be activated from in-app Settings, section Interface.

3. File Sharing

Can I automatically store the recordings to my Dropbox?

You have two options to put the recording files into your Dropbox account.

First option: Manual upload. Make sure you have your Dropbox installed on your phone and signed in. To share the recordings, simply press Share and choose Dropbox.

You can add multiple recordings to Dropbox, and Dropbox will handle the uploading automatically. Long-press on the recording list to select more than one item, then press the share button to add to Dropbox.

Second option: Automatic upload. Use the Dropbox Auto-Upload feature introduced in version 2.1 of Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder. Go to app Settings (tap the gear icon) and select Dropbox. Once you are signed in, you can choose to automatically upload your recordings to Dropbox. Recordings will be uploaded to Apps > Hi-Q Recordings folder on your Dropbox.

How to access my recordings on my computer?
Wi-Fi Transfer

This allows you to access your recordings on your device from your PC without any cables locally. Make sure your phone and your PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi access point.

  • Go to the Recording List screen (top left of your screen)
  • Select Option
  • Select Wi-Fi Transfer
  • Open your Browser on your PC (e.g Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer)
  • Enter the http address displayed on your phone into your browser
USB Connection

Simply connect your phone to your computer and you will be able to copy and paste your recordings to your computer. Once the file is on your computer, you will be able to access your recorder from any audio player.

If you choose “App folder on SD Card” as the location of stored recordings, the recordings will be available at the following folder: Android > data > com.hiqrecorder.full > files > Recordings.

Use Cloud Services (e.g. Google Drive, DropBox, SkyDrive)

Make sure you are connected to the internet and you can upload your file from your phone. Once it is uploaded to the Cloud, you can access your file from the computer.

What does “Waiting for server confirmation” means when uploading to Google Drive?

When you enable Google Drive automatic upload, you can see that sometimes after the upload progress reaches 100%, a “Waiting for server confirmation” message appears.

That is because Google Drive works by storing the files to be uploaded (in this case, your recordings) on your device before sending it to the Google Drive server.

Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder does not have control on the entire upload process, it can only request the Google Drive Service (part of Google Play Services) on your device to make a new file and send it to the Google Drive server.

What if you keep seeing “Waiting for server confirmation”? In rare cases, it is possible that the cached version of the recording file could not be sent to the server successfully by the Google Drive Service. Please tap on the recording item, select “Cancel upload”, and repeat the upload by choosing “Upload to Google Drive”.

Where do my recordings go if I delete the free version of Hi-Q? Do they automatically move to the Pro Version after it is installed?

By default, recordings are stored in the “Recordings” folder of the internal shared storage of your device.

What we mean by shared storage is the storage on your device that can be accessed by any application, and not tied to a particular app. (When we say “internal”, it means it is not the removable SD card.) Because it is a shared storage, if you uninstall Hi-Q, whether it is the free version or the Pro version, the recordings stored within are not going to be deleted.

Hence, if you have never changed the Location of stored recordings from Hi-Q settings, you can safely uninstall Hi-Q without losing any of your recordings.

However, there is an option in Hi-Q to store the recordings in the “App folder on SD card”. This means storing the recordings in the app-specific storage. Normally, the folder is “Android/data/com.hiqrecorder.free/files/Recordings” or “Android/data/com.hiqrecorder.full/files/Recordings” in the removable SD card. If you have set this option, uninstalling Hi-Q will cause Android to also remove your recording files. In this case, make sure you back up your recordings from the above location elsewhere before you uninstall Hi-Q.

Why can’t I send my recordings through email?

Email service providers have a limit on the size of outgoing emails. It is possible that you were trying to send a recording that is too large for them to handle it.

At the time of writing, the limits are:

  • Gmail: 25 MB
  • Outlook or Hotmail: 10 MB
  • Yahoo! Mail: 25 MB
  • AOL: 25 MB

To share recordings that are larger than 25 MB, you can upload the recordings to cloud storage services like DropBox, Google Drive or SkyDrive and send the sharing link by email.

Why can’t I share my recordings through text message or MMS?

Text message and MMS do not show up in the list of supported apps for MP3 because they do not support MP3 files.

  • SMS is plain text (and only very short plain text)
  • MMS does support audio such as MIDI file, but not MP3 clips.

However, Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder let you send your clips by using other 3rd party apps, like Skype, WhatsApp, SoundCloud, or online storage such as Dropbox, Evernote or Google Drive. It depends on those apps being installed on your phone.

Why does not auto-upload work even when I am connected to Wi-Fi?

You can choose whether to perform the automatic upload to Dropbox or Google Drive “Over Wi-Fi only” or “Over Wi-Fi or mobile network”. However, there could be instances where you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, but the upload does not run.

You can see that the upload is not running from the status message “Waiting for Wi-Fi to start upload” when uploading manually, from the waiting icon at the Dropbox or Google Drive icon on the recording list, or from the “Waiting… (xx remaining)” on the Dropbox or Google Drive settings.

The actual meaning of “Over Wi-Fi only” option is “Over unmetered Wi-Fi only”. There is a setting on Android to mark certain Wi-Fi network as “metered”. For example, if you use a mobile Hotspot and you tether your phone to that Hotspot using a Wi-Fi network, that network access point is automatically set as “metered” by Android. However, you can also mark any Wi-Fi access point as “metered” manually.

So, if you are using a Wi-Fi network that you think is not metered, but Hi-Q refuses to upload your recordings over that Wi-Fi network, you can mark that as unmetered by following the steps below, though each Android model has slightly different names or locations of the settings:

  1. Launch the system Settings application
  2. Tap on the Data Usage option
  3. Tap on the Network Restrictions option within the Wi-Fi section
  4. Toggle the Wi-Fi network you are currently using OFF, so that it is not considered as metered.

4. Errors

Error 1502 (Invalid parent folder) when uploading to Google Drive

The error 5: 1502 (Invalid parent folder) may occur when you upload a recording to Google Drive, either manually or automatically after you enabled the Google Drive integration.

How to fix it: Go to the Hi-Q MP3 Recorder settings > Google Drive > tap Account to log off from Google Drive, and then tap Account again to re-login to Google Drive.

This error could happen if you do an uninstall or “clear data” or “manage space” of the Google Play Services system app that is installed on your device. For more technical discussion of this issue, see the following paragraphs.

On Android, operations on Google Drive is not done directly between an app and the Google servers. It is done via an intermediate layer inside Google Play Services. When we prepare the folder to store the recordings on Google Drive, Google Play Services creates the folder internally (it works even when your device is offline) with its own ID called DriveId. The DriveId is passed to our app, and we store this DriveId for future uploads. Sooner or later, the folder is synchronized to the Google servers and the Google Play Services app stores the mapping between DriveIds and the server IDs. When you remove the data associated with the Google Play Services app, the mapping is lost. Hence, on the next upload, our app tries to give that DriveId as the location of the uploaded file, but it is no longer recognized.

Your recording files are not lost. You just need to re-login to Google Drive using the instructions above.

Error message appears that it has not been possible to install on USB storage or SD card

On devices with SD card, sometimes Google Play forces an update of the app to be installed on SD card, for some reasons. We would suggest you to unmount your SD Card first, so the Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder will be installed on your device storage. Below is the steps to unmount your SD Card (may vary by device):

  1. Go to your device Settings
  2. Select Storage
  3. Touch Unmount SD Card
  4. Install Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder
  5. Mount your SD Card back, or just restart your device.
I got an error code 0xb00000000 or 0xc00000001

The error code 0xb00000000 means that Android fails to give access to the microphone to Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder.

Usually, this problem can be solved just by restarting (turning off and then on again) your device. Also, make sure there is no other apps that records audio running in the background.

Google Now Launcher is known to detect the “OK, Google” hotword most of the time. Sometimes, it fails to give way to other apps that want to take control of the audio input. You should disable the hotword detection if it causes problems.

Other apps that access the microphone will also block Hi-Q from accessing the microphone. On Android 6.0 and later, do the following to check what applications have access to the microphone:

  • On your device, open the main Settings app Settings.
  • Tap Apps or Application Manager (depending on your device, this may look different).
  • Tap Settings Settings and then App permissions. If you can’t find App permissions, you may need to tap Privacy and safety and then App permissions.
  • Tap the Microphone permission.
  • Review the apps that have the Microphone permission. Try turning off permissions for apps that you think should not access the microphone by moving the switch to the left until it turns gray.

I received a “Security Alert” when linking Dropbox for auto-upload. Why is that?

When using Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder version 2.1 or lower, you might receive the following pop-up when trying to enable Dropbox auto-upload:

Security alert
Another app on your phone may be trying to pose as the app you are currently using. The malicious app cannot access your account, but linking to Dropbox has been disabled as a precaution. Please contact support@dropbox.com

Most likely it is because you have both the Free and Pro versions of Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder installed on your device.

Dropbox SDK (integration library) does not allow multiple apps accessing the same Dropbox folder. Since both the Free and Pro versions uses the same Dropbox folder, Apps > Hi-Q Recordings, it is impossible to link both apps.

So, we advise to uninstall the Free version app and keep just the Pro version. The warning dialog is made clear on the version 2.2 and above.

5. Others

Can I buy Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder without using Google Play Store?

As of 2019, we do not accept purchases via means other than the official Google Play Store or other app store distributors. Please email help@hiqrecorder.com if you have concerns.

How can I recover a recording that I accidentally deleted?

We do not store hidden copies of your recordings, because when you select Delete, the recording is immediately deleted, and there is no option to undelete it.

There is a little chance that your recording can be recovered by data recovery specialists. The sooner you stop using your device after deleting the recording, the greater is your chance to recover it.

You might be able to do it yourselves if you store the recordings on removable SD cards, but we do not recommend this for daily recordings because I/O failure rates have reportedly been great. One article shows you how to recover data with some conditions that have to be met beforehand.

This article by Avast shows more details on how it is sometimes possible to recover deleted data.

To help avoid this in the future, enable automatic backup to Dropbox (soon Google Drive) from the app settings so that new recordings are backed up safely.

How do I install Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder on a new device?

If you have a new phone or tablet, you can reinstall Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder without paying again.

You need to sign in to the Google Account (Gmail) on your new device, then just open Google Play Store to download Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder. You can  click on this link to install the app.

How do I join the Beta Testing program to try out new features?

From time to time, we release beta versions that contain exciting new features. If you are using Play Store to download Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder, you can try the beta versions by following any of the instructions below:

Thanks for trying the Beta version! We appreciate your feedback on the Beta versions. Please email to help@hiqrecorder.com for Beta version feedback.

How does the app use the permissions asked when installing?

We do not collect any personally identifiable information from your device. The permissions are used as follows:

Storage (Photos/Media/Files)

The app need to store the recordings in a location not specific to the app, so the recordings (by default) will stay on your device when the app is uninstalled.

Microphone: record audio

Obviously, we need this. Otherwise, the app won’t be able to record any sound.

Wi-Fi connection information: view Wi-Fi connections

You can transfer files from your phone to your computer using your home’s Wi-Fi network using the Wi-Fi Transfer feature. The app displays the name of the Wi-Fi network the device is currently connected to. We do not collect the name (SSID) or MAC address of your Wi-Fi network.

Device ID & call information: read phone status and identity

This permission is needed to detect when there is ongoing phone conversation so the recording can be stopped without getting the corrupted audio signals that sometimes can happen on certain devices. Your phone number, IMEI, MEID, calls, or any other identities are not collected.

If you have any doubt, please contact help@hiqrecorder.com and we will clarify it.

I lost my recording file, how do I get it back?

First you should check your location of stored recording. Open the app, and go to app Settings > Recording > Location of stored recordings. The default location should be in “Recordings” folder inside your primary SD card or USB storage. If you have changed the recording location, you should go to the correct location where you stored your recordings.

Sometimes, people moved their files without noticing it, or change the folder name (from the default one “Recordings” to something else) so the Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder does not see the files again.

Name of recording files starts with “recording-“, followed by 8-digit date (YYYYMMDD), a dash “-“, 6-digit time (HHMMSS), and “.mp3” (or other extensions following the Format setting), like “recording-20150607-120024.mp3”. I hope you can find it somewhere on your phone or SD card.

Use apps like Solid Explorer or ES File Explorer to help find the missing files.

Make sure you do not install questionable apps that “clean junk files” from your phone because they might cause deletion of files unexpectedly.

I received virus alert on my phone, is that harmful?

We are aware of the virus alerts reported by Avast/NANO/Sophos antivirus apps. Rest assured that our app does NOT contain viruses.

Message from Avast: “Our virus analyst confirmed false detection. Now it should be fixed or in the next update virus definitions.” – Martin Krejčů, Technical Support, AVAST Software s.r.o.

At the time of writing, Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder is at version 2.1.1 and none of the 54 antivirus software listed in www.virustotal.com detects Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder as a virus.

What are those text files found in the logs folder?

Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder leaves log files at this folder:
Android/data/com.hiqrecorder.full/cache/logs on your external storage (SD card or USB storage).

It contains the latest operations done in the app. When you go to the app Settings > Troubleshooting > Send device info, they will be sent together with the system report to help us identify and find solution to the problem you might have encountered.

You can delete them any time. Moreover, if Android detects that you need more disk space, it will automatically delete those files.

On certain Android versions, you can also delete those files by going to the system settings > Storage > tap on “Cached data” and you will be asked whether you want to clear them.

What does “App folder on SD Card” mean?

Starting on Android KitKat (4.4), all downloaded apps must store their data on a designated folder on the SD Card.

In Hi-Q MP3 Voice Recorder, it is called App folder on SD Card. You can choose it when you change the Location of stored recordings.

The exact location of the folder on your SD card is: Android/data/com.hiqrecorder.full/files/Recordings

As for the Free version, the location is: Android/data/com.hiqrecorder.free/files/Recordings
